Calvert Cliffs State Park is a public recreation area in Lusby, Calvert County, Maryland, that protects a portion of the cliffs that extend for 24 miles along the eastern flank of the Calvert Peninsula on the west side of Chesapeake Bay from Chesapeake Beach southward to Drum Point.

Calvert is an unincorporated community in Cecil County, Maryland, United States, approximately six miles east of Rising Sun . History. The community was named for George Calvert, 1st Baron Baltimore. [2] . The center of the village is the Cross Keys Inn (Cross Keys Tavern) that was established there in 1774.
