Highlander 2: Special Edition - this is the 2005 release that is widely available on streaming platforms. It was a CGI makeover of the Renegade Version. I think the new effects look pretty cool and helps blend things in a little better. It has one brief scene removed and adds a new narration from Christopher Lambert.
Jun 16, 2017 · Concerning the second USA BD release of Highlander 2: Is it actually the Renegade Version? I ask because the first USA BD -- simply titled Highlander 2 -- was a really terrible transfer of the Special Edition with the updated special effects, so if the second release is indeed the actual Renegade Version, it should be a different transfer with the original effects.
