Lin-Manuel Miranda (/ l ɪ n m æ n ˈ w ɛ l m ə ˈ r æ n d ə /; (born January 16, 1980) is an American actor, singer, songwriter, rapper, director, producer, and playwright. He created and starred in the Broadway musicals In the Heights and Hamilton.
