Ulrich, Herzog zu Mecklenburg [-Güstrow] (* 5. März 1527 in Schwerin; † 14. März 1603 in Güstrow) war Herzog zu Mecklenburg von 1555/56 bis 1603 und zuletzt Nestor des deutschen Reichsfürstenrates.
Ulrich died without heirs in 1603 and Güstrow fell back to John Albert's grandchildren Adolf Frederick I and John Albert II, joint rulers of Mecklenburg-Schwerin from 1610 onwards. Mecklenburg-Güstrow was created for a third and final time with the partition of 1621, when John Albert II received the Güstrow part of Mecklenburg.
After the latter's death, John Albert occupied Schwerin and left Güstrow to his brother Ulrich. Therefore, both duchies were ruled, from then on, by descendants of Albert VII. Also, a duchy at Gadebusch was created for a third son, Christopher.
