The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) is an art museum in Richmond, Virginia, United States, which opened in 1936. The museum is owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Private donations, endowments, and funds are used for the support of specific programs and all acquisition of artwork, as well as additional general support.

VMFA showcases more than 50,000 works of art spanning 5,000 years of world history, with premier collections of 21st century art, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, English silver, and the largest collection of Fabergé eggs and Russian decorative arts outside of Russia. The VMFA also offers a social scene with wine, yoga, and classes for all ages and interests.
