The National Rules & Regulations describe how AYSO conducts age specific programs and games including expectations for participation, details on team formation and registration requirements.
AYSO primarily delivers outdoor soccer match play. The following Rules & Regulations shall be used for Region, Area, Section and tournament play within AYSO. Some flexibility in these rules may be allowed for other forms of match play with the approval of the Area Director and Section Director.
2023 AYSO National Rules and Regulations. This is the official version of the AYSO National Rules & Regulations. These Rules describe how AYSO conducts age specific programs and games including expectations for participation, details on team formation and registration requirements.
AYSO National Rules & Regulations paragraph VI.E. states: “Team members shall not be allowed to practice or participate in any match with any type of cast or splint.”
