Both non-tanker aircraft types were later replaced by the C-37. On 1 January 2001 the 6th ARW reorganized again and became the 6th Air Mobility Wing (6 AMW), assigned to Air Mobility Command 's Eighteenth Air Force . The 6 AMW has twice won the Air Mobility Rodeo Best Air Mobility Wing Award; in 2000 and 2005.
