Nadeem–Shravan are Indian music directors duo in the Bollywood film industry of India. They derive their name from the first names of Nadeem Akhtar Saifi (born 6 August 1954) and Shravan Kumar Rathod (13 November 1954 – 22 April 2021). Nadeem Saifi met Shravan Rathod through a common friend at a party. They both wanted to become music composers and decided to team and form the composer duo Nadeem-Shravan. The first project on which they worked together happened in 1979 when they composed music for their first song ‘Kashi hile, Patna hile’ for the Bhojpuri movie ‘Dangal.’
