Toei Animation Phils., Inc. is a 100% subsidiary of Toei Animation Co. Ltd. Of Japan. It was established in November 17, 1986 as one of the departments of Industrial Training Corporation of Asia which was the training arm of Engineering Equipment Inc., now known as EEI Corporation.
In 1990, the joint venture between EEI and Toei was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company was then known as EEI-TOEI Animation Corp., with EEI as the majority owner. In 1998, Toei Animation Co., Ltd. become the majority owner of Toei Philippines and in 2000, EEI sold the remaining shares to Toei Animation Co., Ltd.
