The Infamous Amityville Horror home has been blurred out, wonder why. Lots of reasons, it’s very easy to get a house blurred out even if you aren’t the owner. Yup and then virtually impossible to get it unblurred. Nature of the beast I suppose.
But yeah, before the home was demolished it was blurred on google earth / maps. The reason given by google was because when their car drove by and took the street view pics, those girls unbeknownst to anybody else were all still inside the home. So out of respect for the 3 kidnap victims, google made the decision to blur their photos of the house.
