Terraria ( /təˈrɛə.ri.ə/ tə-RAIR-ee-ə [1]) is a video game developed by Re-Logic. It was first released as a game for Windows on May 16th, 2011 but has since expanded to several other platforms. It is a 2D action-adventure, open-world sandbox / platformer game in which the player controls a single character in a generated world.
