Meanwhile, Kermit and Fozzie have a double date with Denise and Becky, where they enter a trivia contest at Rowlf's Tavernand Kermit accuses Becky of cheating, which causes a rift between him and Fozzie.

This episode features Chelsea Handler, whom Scooter has developed an enormous crush. Scooter is, however, incredibly nervous and awkward, even when his date with Chelsea goes well.
In “Too Hot to Handler,” we find Kermit being kind of a jerk, but with the best possible intentions, motivated by Fozzie considering a major life decision. It must be tricky for Muppet writers to find the right balance with Fozzie, to make him appealingly dim but not stupid.
