   • After fifteen years, the building was renamed the ROY E. ANIMATION Building in May 2010, in honor of the late leader who helped usher in a new golden age of Disney Animation. The “A” on display at a previous D23 Expo, signed by many of the Studio's talents, is from the original signage, which was replaced when the building was renamed.
