- Mayflower Beach. Mayflower Beach's beautiful views make it a favorite among visitors of Dennis. At this Mid Cape beach, low tide means travelers can walk for miles until they reach the sea, and it's the perfect place to watch the sun set.
- Marconi Beach. One of Cape Cod's most well-known beaches, Marconi Beach can be found in Wellfleet's section of Cape Cod National Seashore.
- Race Point Beach. The rough waters at Provincetown's Race Point Beach are ideal for surfing, but the beach also has some shallow areas better suited for swimming.
- Veterans Park Beach. If you're in the mood for a seaside picnic, Veterans Park Beach is the perfect spot. This small but charming beach in Hyannis offers picnic space, barbecue areas, a snack shack, a playground and ample space for playing beach games.
- Coast Guard Beach. So I’ll just be up front with you, Coast Guard is probably my favorite National Seashore beach. It also continually makes lists of the top beaches in the U.S., is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best places for spotting seals on Cape Cod, and enjoying bigger waves for boogie boarding.
- Race Point Beach. Located in Provincetown, the northern-most beach on the CCNS is Race Point, which can be found at the very tip of the peninsula if you’re looking at the region on a map.
- Herring Cove Beach. Also located in Provincetown, Herring Cove beach is another popular one for both swimming and sunsets. It’s known for having some of the gentlest surf of the CCNS beaches, and is also home to concerts in the evenings in the summer season.
- Head Of The Meadow Beach. Located in Truro, just south of Provincetown, Head of the Meadow Beach is absolutely beautiful, and I think the most under-rated of the CCNS beaches.
- Craigville Beach, Centerville. The south side of Cape Cod is home to many beaches, but Craigville Beach is probably the one that receives the most attention.
- Marconi Beach, Wellfleet. Travelers would be amiss to skip Marconi Beach on a visit to Cape Cod. One of the region's true gems, this is a stunning place to visit with the family.
- Monument Beach, Bourne. Monument Beach is monumental (sorry, we had to). A gorgeous, sandy spot perfect for digging in toes, it's located in Bourne at the southern entrance to the seven-mile-long Cape Cod Canal, connecting Cape Cod Bay with Buzzards Bay.
- Nauset Beach, Orleans. Fishermen would like to keep the secrets of Nauset beach all to themselves. Bass and bluefish make a habit of swimming in these waters when the timing is right.

Shark sightings have become more frequent in recent years, especially at the ocean beaches on the Outer Cape (including all of the Cape Cod National Seashore beaches). Mayflower Beach is the prettiest of the three beaches in Dennis that front Cape Cod Bay. If you like a little adventure with your beach outing, Long Point could be for you. Part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, Coast Guard Beach is a stunner, backed by tall, undulating beach grasses. Coast Guard Beach is a...
On the wild tip of the Cape, Race Point Beach captures the essence of the National Seashore, with its crashing surf and undulating dunes as far as the eye can see. You can walk for miles in either direction and see nothing but sand and sea – and perhaps Race Point Lighthouseif you make it that far (two miles west). The 5-mile paved Province Lands t...
A wide sandy beach on Nantucket Sound, this Centerville beach is classic Cape Cod. Children frolic in the surf, teens play Spikeball on the sand. The waves are variable but the temperature is always pretty perfect (especially compared to the chilly water at the northside beaches). Thanks to its unique basin-shape and location between two islands, i...
