     Rarely do we use OOP in competitive programming & Problem solving. OOP is important when program a system(has many components) to make it more organized.

     However,OOP is used(Rarely) in competitive programming to simplify datatype..

     Here there is an Example..

     if you have 1000 point and each of them has its left, right, top ,down value, so to simplify it, we make a class

     Class Point{int LeftValue;int RightValue;int TopValue;int DownValue;}-

     Then easily make an array of the "point" class with the size of 1000

     IDEs arent very useful in Python; powerful editors such as Emacs and Vim seem very popular among Python programmers. This may confuse e.g. Java programmers, because in Java each file generally requires boilerplate code, such as a package statement, getters and setters. Python is much more lightweight in comparison.

     If you're looking for an equivalent to Visual Studio or Eclipse, there is... Eclipse, with Pydev.

     Emacs and Vim are very powerful and general, but have a steep learning curve. If you want to use Emacs, I highly recommend python mode; it's much better than the default Python mode.

     Experimentation. Research.

     The actual "ideal" value depends on the data, so you could do your own research with your data and potentially find a different "optimal" load factor.

     .75 has been found to be a good general load factor, balancing performance vs. memory use, i.e. not wasting memory on empty hashtable buckets, while minimizing the probability of hash collisions.

     What is the importance of loadfactor in rehashing?

     If the load factor is too low, the hashtable will have a lot of empty buckets, wasting memory.

     If the load factor is too high, the probability of hash collisions is too high, reducing performance of hash lookups, since hash collisions means a sequential search is required to find the match (or balanced tree lookup in Java 8+).

     Normalization is important part of the database design, it is defined in 70's by E F Codd. As you already know, it reduces the duplication of data in a table(relation) but it keeps the referential integrity - the information is the same but presumably more optimized. It has a cost though - more tables, related with foreign key relationship. This usually adds abstraction on the database.

     Since you need specifically for 3NF it should be ensured:

     • The relation R (table) is in second normal form (2NF)
     • Every non-prime attribute of R is non-transitively dependent on every superkey of R.

     The table should be normalized first in First Normal Form (1NF) and Second Normal Form (2NF), so after that eventually in 3NF. Also the row in the table should depend only "Nothing but the key". If contents of a group of field applies to more than one primary key, it should be put in another table.

     For example, if you have employee table in a database that has the hometown of the employee you may have several duplicate rows with hometown New York. This hometown can be separated to another table hometown with primary key and column like name, related to the employee (through EmployeeHometown table), where only once would be listed New York (no duplicates). It will be much easier, to check 5 hometowns on separate table, than to go through 100 employees, get their hometows.
