Romani ( ROM-ə-nee, ROH-; also Romany, Romanes ROM-ən-iss, Roma;) is an Indo-Aryan macrolanguage of the Romani communities. According to Ethnologue, seven varieties of Romani are divergent enough to be considered languages of their own.
