  2. Mar 18, 2021 · Gardens by the Bay. I couldn’t compile a list of the best places to view the Singapore skyline without including Gardens by the Bay. An immense garden filled with tree-like structures, Gardens by the Bay has numerous viewing points to take in the Singapore skyline.

    • Singapore Flyer. Up first is the Singapore Flyer, one of the best places to see the Singapore skyline at night! Located right along the water near the Helix Bridge, this is easily one of the best spots for a photo while in Singapore.
    • Merlion Park. Believe it or not, but another one of the best spots to see the Singapore city skyline is at Merlion Park, another spot near the water. In fact, it’s only 15 minutes away by foot from the Singapore Flyer!
    • LeVeL33. A place where you can get a bit more of an upscale view of the Singapore skyline while enjoying yourself is at LeVeL33. This is a skyrise restaurant near the water!
    • Marina Bay Sands Skypark. Fourth on the list is the very place that you can see exceptionally well from LeVeL33, the Marina Bay Sands Skypark. This is easily a great place to see Singapore buildings from an excellent vantage point.

    • Marina Bay Sands SkyPark. Building, Park. Floating 57 levels above the three towers of Marina Bay Sands, the SkyPark offers an alternative angle on the Singapore skyline.
    • Merlion Park – Marina Bay, Singapore. Park. The 8.6m (28ft) half-lion, half-fish Merlion statue takes you back to Singapore’s humble beginnings as a fishing village, while its stark visual contrast with the skyscraper-heavy skyline Singapore has built up over the years illustrates the city’s gradual growth into an economically important metropolis.
    • Esplanade. Theater. Looking for the classic postcard view of Singapore? Just head down to Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, and walk along its idyllic waterfront.
    • Singapore Flyer. Building. The Singapore Flyer is Asia’s largest observation wheel and an integral part of the Marina Bay skyline. Towering at 165m (540ft) above ground level, with 28 glass cabins that make a slow circular revolution, you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the surrounding Marina Bay and its architectural landmarks, panoramic views of Singapore’s skyline and, on a good day, even see parts of neighbouring Malaysia or Indonesia in the distance.
    • Marina Bay Sands Skypark. Admission: A ticket is required to visit the Skypark. Get the tickets here. For entry after 4 p.m., you do need to book a time slot when you buy the ticket.
    • Bay East Garden. Admission: Free Admission. Bay East Garden is one of the lesser-known ways to admire the Singapore skyline, and it’s totally free. The Bay East Garden is actually a walking/cycling track that is connected from Marina Bay Sands.
    • Sky Garden at CapitaSpring. Admission: Free Admission. Open to public Mon – Fri from 8:30am – 10:30am and 2:30pm – 6:00pm. You can book a slot to visit here.
    • Waterfront Promenade. Admission: Public space that is open 24/7. Free admission. Walking along the Waterfront promenade is one of my favorite activities in Singapore, and it’s totally free!
  3. A giant observation wheel that stands amidst the skyscrapers in the Singapore skyline, the Singapore Flyer is the go-to attraction for the most magnificent views of our city. A scenic spin on the Singapore Flyer takes you 165 metres above ground, or as high as 42 storeys, as you marvel at the spectacular scenery below.
