    Geoffrey Paul Barrow (born 9 December 1971) is an English music producer, composer, and DJ. He is a member of the bands Portishead , Beak , and Quakers , and he has scored several films. Portishead was formed in 1991, and named after the small coastal town near Bristol where Barrow grew up. [2]
