Daniel DeWayne Severn was born in Goldwater, Michigan on June 8, 1958, and he is currently 65 years old. He is currently a Part Time Wrestler, Coach and Actor, working for Independent promotions, under the ring name of Dan Severn. He is the first person to fight in the WWE and UFC at the same time.
Severn has a long history in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling. His amateur wrestling career started in high school and according to many was an "absolute machine" at 191.5 pounds. He won both sports' national championships in 1976 and was named the "Outstanding High School wrestler in the nation".
