On June 4, 2020, Artem Gerasimov, a resident of occupied Crimea, was sentenced to six years in prison, and on June 9, Gennady Shpakovsky was sentenced to six and a half years—the harshest punishment yet given to a Jehovah’s Witness in Russia.
