Agoura Hills (/ ə ˈ ɡ ɔːr ə / ⓘ) is a city in the Santa Monica Mountains [9] region of Los Angeles County, California, United States. Its population was 20,330 at the 2010 census, [8] which decreased to 20,299 in 2020. [10] It is in the eastern Conejo Valley between the Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Perched on the western edge of Los Angeles County in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, Agoura Hills is located just forty-five minutes from busy downtown Los Angeles, but is nevertheless rich with undulating hills and inspiring canyons.
North of the 101 Freeway, Agoura Hills is a typically suburban bedroom community and of little interest to most travelers, however, south of the 101 lies the scenic Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area where you will catch sight of breathtaking views.
