Oliver David Whiteside Stapleton (born 12 April 1948), [1] BSC is an English cinematographer. [2] Life and career. He graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1970 with a degree in psychology and from the National Film and Television School (NFTS) UK while working in South Africa (from 1966 to 1974) and England.
Oliver Stapleton, BSC, has worked with a wide array of critically acclaimed filmmakers to make some of the UK & Hollywood's best stories. His career spans decades, with a diverse slate of films from "My Beautiful Laundrette" in 1984, to Michael Hoffman's "Dear Mr Vidal" in 2018.
