Mauston is a city in and the county seat of Juneau County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 4,347 as of the 2020 census. It is approximately 70 miles northwest from the state capital, Madison.

The purpose of the Mauston Tourism Commission is to make Mauston a “Destination City” by promoting the “Mauston Experience” through marketing and supporting community groups who focus on attracting additional visitors and organize and promote local community events.
