Hesperange (French pronunciation: [ɛspəʁɑ̃ʒ]; Luxembourgish: Hesper ⓘ; German: Hesperingen) is a commune and town in southern Luxembourg. It is located south-east of Luxembourg City. The total population of the commune is 16,443 as of 2023, making it the seventh-most populous in the country.

Hesperange. The commune of Hesperange includes the localities Hesperange, Alzingen Fentange, Howald and Itzig and is situated on the banks of the river Alzette, three miles south from the capital city. The ruins of a feudal manor dominate the locality. Park with pond and fountains near the townhall in Hesperange. Nice view points.
Hesperange Castle. The locality of Hesperange was first mentioned in 867 / 868 by the name of Hasmaringa marca and was owned by the abbey of Echternach. The gallows in Howald as well as a pillory located near the castle until the late 18th Century were mentioned as early as 1277.
