Ingatestone Hall is a Grade I listed 16th-century manor house in Essex, England. It is located outside the village of Ingatestone, approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south west of Chelmsford and 25 miles (40 km) north east of London. The house was built by Sir William Petre, and his descendants ( the Barons Petre) live in the house to this day.
We are generally open on Wednesdays, Sundays and bank holidays from 12 noon to 5pm (last entry at 4pm) between Easter and the end of September. Admission. Historic Houses members visit for free. Adults: £8.50. Concessions: £7.50. Children (5-16): £4. Under 5: Free.
