Needham (/ ˈ n iː d ə m / NEED-əm) is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. A suburb of Boston, its population was 32,091 at the 2020 U.S. Census. It is the home of Olin College.

- Needham Center. Framing the Town Hall and the Town Common, Needham has an animated downtown area, with dining, shopping, culture and a slew of events that bring the community to the heart of the town.
- Echo Bridge. In the northeast of Needham, a lovely stretch of the Charles River is encompassed by the Hemlock Gorge Reservation, with steep, hemlock-wooded banks.
- Cutler Park. Hugging the riverbank in the east of Needham is the state-owned Cutler Park, containing a massive expanse of freshwater marsh. This is the largest to be found on the Middle Charles River, and is ecologically rich, providing a habitat or resting place for some 100 bird species.
- Charles River Peninsula. Owned by the Trustees of Reservations, this stunning patch of land is tucked into a meander of the Charles River, with water surrounding it on three sides.

Needham is a town in Massachusetts, near Boston with a population of 32,000 (2020). Home to Olin College, it is primarily a residential suburb with little historical or cultural interest, although a number of upscale and ethnic restaurants have turned it into a rather unlikely culinary destination.
Nov 3, 2022 · Needham began as Dedham’s North Parish, the land north of the Charles River. The land that later became Needham and Wellesley was purchased from tribal leader William Nehoiden in 1680 for 10 pounds in cash, 40 acres of land, and 40 shillings worth of corn. The early settlers made their living as farmers.
