Typically the doors open at 8.30 am on these days, except for Wednesdays when they open a little later, at 10 am. The last entry is usually at 4 pm. Opening times can vary, especially when special services are planned.
- Exterior Facade. The cathedral has the scale and classicism of St. Peters Basilica in Rome. It’s a church of spectacular dimensions: 515 feet long and 227 feet wide across the transepts.
- Nave. Heading inside, the first thing you see is the grand nave. Wren keep the medieval concept of a nave with side aisles. But rather than use cross vaults, he substituted saucer dome vaults.
