The Barracks is the second oldest Army Base in the U.S. The U.S. Army War College is its primary use with 2,300 active duty personnel and over 1,000 civilians.
The Carlisle Barracks Golf Course is one of the finest in Cumberland Valley. It measures over 6300 yards, has a par 72, and is fully irrigated, with a normal golfing season from April - November.
