It's always been clear WIT's staff cared for Attack on Titan, they even helped transition the work over to MAPPA (in the interviews for when MAPPA was announced to animate season 4). They just couldn't do it anymore.
But there's way more examples in season 1 then in season 4. Plus, Mappa had less than 8 months to finish attack on titan season 4 part 1, and they had pretty consistent scenes. Not to mention, their rotoscopping was amazingly done, and Udo looked realistic with his movements.
