Apr 15, 2024 · Effective from Apr 15, 2024. Cards that are “Forbidden” cannot be used in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, or Side Deck. You can only have 1 copy maximum of a “Limited” card in your Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Side Deck combined.

The main points for enforcing forbidden/limited card lists aims to: Maintain game balance, and to uphold an enjoyable gameplay experience. Encourage variety in Decks and card choices between duelists for more variety. Reduce exploits by restricting certain card combos.

Jun 14, 2024 · OCG will take place on June 23rd at 9pm JST! The new list will go into effect on July 1st 2024 as usual, and be released on the official Yu-Gi-Oh.JP website as soon as the countdown above ends (but of course we'll have the full list for you here as soon as possible)!
