The Georgia Department of Education is the first state agency to publish their learning standards in the CASE format. GaDOE is using OpenSALT, an MIT licensed, open source community and tool to manage CASE Frameworks.
On March 25, 2021, the State Board of Education approved the K-12 Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) for Health Education. The use of the revised GSE for Health Education is voluntary for the 2021-2022 school year. Full implementation begins in the 2022-2023 school year.
