Later in life Billy made a line of Christmas cards that all featured Santa and the elves and such playing country music.

  4. Oct 15, 2021 · In addition to being one of the greatest non pedal steel players of all time , Billy was also an exceptional artist. His Christmas postcards are a great example of his talent. It is a sad day to know we will no longer get to see Billy play his steel guitar and classic songs. Condolences to the family.

  6. Oct 26, 2021 · Billy Robinson passed away last Friday morning. He is an icon who played for Red Foley, replacing Jerry Byrd in the last 1940’s. Billy played on the Prince Albert portion of the Grande Ole Opry and was playing steel behind Hank Williams on his Opry debut.
