S1.E1 ∙ Pilot. FBI Agent Booth needs forensic anthropologist Dr. Brennan's help to solve the case of a decomposed body found in a pond in Arlington National Cemetery. She agrees to help if she is a full partner in the case.
Sweets and his profile help Booth identify suspects, notably brilliant hacker Christopher Pelant and the omnipresent newspaper reporter Ezra Krane. Another murder follows and a highly original diversion crime. Bones meanwhile accepts to stay home and seriously considers Booth's ideas for a new home.
