Buster and Billie. Loosely based on real-life events that occurred in writer Ron Turbeville 's hometown of Florence, South Carolina in 1948. In a 1975 interview with Dorothy Manners, Jan-Michael Vincent was asked about his oft-spoken-of nude scene in the film.
