Cannon Mountain is New Hampshire's only state-owned premiere ski area in beautiful Franconia Notch State Park. Cannon offers 11 lifts servicing 285 acres of skiing (192 with snowmaking), 25 miles of trails and has the only aerial tramway in New Hampshire.
Cannon Mountain (formerly Profile Mountain) is a 4,080-foot (1,240 m) peak in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It is known for both its technical rock and ice climbing on its cliff face and skiing at Cannon Mountain Ski Area. It was also home to the Old Man of the Mountain, until that formation collapsed on May 3, 2003.

At the top of Cannon Mountain and along the Kinsman Ridge Trail, there are phenomenal views and alpine forest. This trail is steep, with some sections of scrambling, eroded dirt, and rocky areas. Cannon Mountain is a peak in the White Mountains range of New Hampshire.
