Mar 31, 2024 · Craig McCracken. Today is the 53rd birthday of one of my favorite animators/artists, Mr. Craig Douglas McCracken (one of the kings of Cartoon Network who created both The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends for the channel, as well as Kid Cosmic for Netflix).
Craig McCracken (born March 31, 1971) is an American cartoonist, animator, director, writer, and producer known for creating the Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Disney Channel and Disney XD's Wander Over Yonder, and Netflix's Kid Cosmic.
Jul 25, 2022 · The iconic designs of Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. The very first sketch of the Powerpuff Girls (top) and one of the earliest drawings, both from 1991 — courtesy of Craig McCracken’s DeviantArt and Tumblr accounts. Back in 1991, Craig McCracken was a promising student at CalArts.
