Daniel Shin, DDS, MSD, is a clinical assistant professor and director of predoctoral periodontics in the Department of Periodontology at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Perio Update. Our Founder. Dr. Daniel Zidel, DDS. Dr. Daniel Zidel received both his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from The Ohio State University. He served as an officer in the United States Navy Dental Corps. After his discharge from the Navy, he opened his family practice on South Hamilton Road.
