May 17, 2023 · On Saturday, May 13, La Salle juniors and seniors attended prom. The theme this year was “Midnight Masquerade” with a gold and midnight purple color scheme. The dance took place from 8-11 p.m. at Lakeside Gardens.

De La Salle Institute was founded by Brother Adjutor, a former director of St. Patrick High School, in 1889, after being chartered by the State of Illinois the previous year. The laying of the cornerstone on May 19, 1889 was a major event which began with an hour-long parade through the streets of Chicago.
To this end, for the 2022- 2023 school year, De La Salle Institute continues to implement its plan to limit or reduce the spread of COVID-19 by attending school and school activities in accordance with the guidance issued by our State and local departments of public health.
