In 1982, while cowboying for the Coldwater Cattle Company, Kevin ordered a bit and a pair of spurs from Jerry Cates. Once Kevin’s order was filled by Mr. Cates, he was amazed at the talent that went along with the building of good solid using gear.

Early pair of hand made spurs by noted Texas maker and past winner of the Adolph Bayers Spurmaker of the Year Award Kevin Burns. 1 3/16" band, 2 3/8" shank, 7/8" engraved rowels. Outside has silver button, big silver rattlesnake with bronze rattles on band and shank and a silver corner piece.
