Lifer was a nu-metal band, which started as a cover band (they covered songs by Tool, Deftones, Korn, Limp Bizkit,...) called Strangers With Candy. In 2000 they released an EP with original songs by them, and changed the name (because of the TV show “Strangers With Candy“) to Driver, while recording their debut album.
