Aug 20, 2020 · When you head out towards Empire from Traverse City on M-72, about 8 miles out you pass Michigan’s only tea farm, Light of Day Organics. Two things that make this farm unique is that it grows honest to goodness real tea, and the farm is certified biodynamic.
This farm and little tea shop is where all the magic happens! Come see for yourself…this is where our products are grown from the heirloom seeds we collect, crops are harvested by hand, dried, lovingly blended and packaged with great care.
Where to find us: Light of Day Organic's certified Organic & Biodynamic Farm, & on-site Tea Wellness Center is located in gorgeous Leelanau County, just 8 miles West of historic downtown Traverse City. We're on the direct route (M-72) to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
