Apr 30, 2002 · There will be a musical celebration of Keale's life starting at noon Saturday at the Hula Mount at Kuhio Beach. A brief ceremony will take place on the beach at 6 p.m., followed by a scattering of the ashes at sea.

Apr 12, 2024 · Keale, the 'ukulele stylist who entertained audiences with his acting and music for more than four decades, died after a heart attack Monday. He was 62. A full-blooded Native Hawaiian, Keale was born Dec. 3, 1939, on Ni'ihau, but grew up on O'ahu.
