Backpacker resupply. Send yourself a resupply bucket containing food and supplies to support your John Muir Trail or Pacific Crest Trail hike. Resupply orders will be available for pick up between June 15 and September 15, 2024.
Half week and short stays. For a smaller group of friends or family—the perfect wilderness getaway. Half week three or four days includes three meals a day. Hearty ranch breakfast, make your own sack lunch for the trail, and dinner after your day of exploring or relaxing.
The John Muir Trail begins in Yosemite National Park and travels 210 miles along the High Sierra mountain range through the Ansel Adams Wilderness, John Muir Wilderness, Sequoia National Park, and King’s Canyon National Park, culminating at the highest peak in the continental United States – Mount Whitney.
Unfortunately, through-hikers do not have much choice regarding a stop at Muir Trail Ranch (MTR); it is the only resupply location along the 105-mile southern stretch of the John Muir Trail (with the exception of Onion Valley which requires hiking an additional ten miles).
