There are quite a few people who blame Paul Tibbitt for the decline of SpongeBob and I don't really agree with that. While he might be a little bit responsible for it, I think the main problem is the writers and Vincent Waller.
Jul 26, 2020 · defending the tibbitt era. Imo spongebob’s post movie seasons are not automatically bad because hillenburg left or because it went in a completely different direction from seasons 1-3 as most people say. First, a writer from the very beginning named paul tibbitt took over.
Jan 1, 2021 · Just curious why they're mad at him. He was the showrunner for Seasons 4-8 and the first half of Season 9. The show took a massive nosedive as soon as he took over and improved slightly after he left. That’s why people hate him.
