Districts are a collection of Demolay Chapters in a certain region or location. Each district has a District Govenor, District Advisors, and appointed officers. DeMolay Officer position are President, VIce President, Scribe, Chaplain, and other assigned positions as needed.
On 24 March 1919, the Order of DeMolay was launched – thirty-one boys, all from the same high school became members of what would in later years grow to become a global fraternal organisation – DeMolay International.
DeMolay International is an international fraternal organization for young men ages 12 to 21. There is in some select area a "Squire" program for those younger than 12. It was founded in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1919 and named for Jacques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar.
DeMolay provides a fraternal environment where young men can grow, mature and develop into responsible adults with good moral character. The Order's Seven Precepts are the philosophy behind DeMolay's program planning efforts:
