May 12, 2021 · I remember the first time I watched this movie, which creeped me out. Years later, when I watched it again, I thought my memories of this movie were a fever dream. Regardless of the film's dark tone, it is still an excellent watch.
Return to Oz. Dorothy finds herself back in the land of her dreams, and makes delightful new friends (like Tik Tok, Jack Pumpkinhead, and the Gump), and dangerous new enemies (the creepy Wheelers, the head-hunting Princess Mombi, and the evil Nome King).
In autumn of 1899, Dorothy Gale's (Fairuza Balk) obsession with the Land of Oz troubles her Aunt Em (Piper Laurie) and Uncle Henry (Matt Clark), who believe she is delusional. Dorothy finds a key in her barn, in the shape of OZ. But aunt Em thinks its an key to the old house from before the tornado.
