I have long regarded Stan Lee as one of my personal heroes. That is why it always comes as a bullet to the heart every time people vaguely try to discredit him for the things he supposedly did to Steve Ditko and Jack Kirby. Some people truly hate him, but they never say why beyond the ambiguous "he screwed over Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko."
