As for the neck pickup, I initially thought it dark, but came to appreciate the wide range of tones that it allows in combo with the bridge pickup.

Jan 17, 2021 · I compared the GT11 to a few other CS strats, the CME Chicago Special (very full pickups), an off the line Journeyman CS strat (a little hotter) and my Jimi Hendrix voodoo child CS (mid heavy). The GT11 really excelled in being balanced EQ wise, there isn't really a tone (Hi/Mid/Low) that overpowers the other, but it’s thick and meaty.

  10. Aug 23, 2008 · Here ya go. Handcrafted from swamp ash by Bruce Bennet. I picked the color. I was going for a robin egg blue. I love this guitar. The neck is nice and meaty with a 12 inch radius. The pups are from Pete Biltoft over at Vintage Vibe Guitars. They're his 10% overwound set. i need better pictures. I have a 93 Ricky Kelly strat that matches it.
