The series is set on the fictional Barkley Ranch in Stockton, California, from 1876-1878. The one-hour episodes follow the lives of the Barkley family, one of the wealthiest and largest ranch-owning families in Stockton.
S3.E16 ∙ The Good Thieves. Two thieves, who killed two men in Stockton and seriously wounded Jarrod, are tracked by Nick and Heath to a distant town. Once there, they find the two men are highly respected and thought of as philanthropists.
The Big Valley is an American Western television series that originally aired from September 15, 1965, to May 19, 1969 on ABC. The series is set on the fictional Barkley Ranch in Stockton, California , from 1884 to 1888.
Heath and Nick travel across the state line to find the two brothers that shot Jarrod in the midst of a robbery. What they find is a town full of people who think of the outlaws as saints, since they're the ones who built the town.
