Ironically, the only star who did enjoy the variety hour format was Reed, whose dissatisfaction with most other Brady Bunch incarnations has become legendary.
A subsequent skit involves Milton arriving at the Brady home as Bobby and his siblings explain to Mike and Carol how to make the family’s show funnier. Milton then introduces his concept for “The Brady Bunch Hour,” with Mike dressed as Carmen Miranda and Carol in drag as Charlie Chaplin.
